Christine is a risk and internal audit professional with over 30 years of experience serving large and community-sized financial institutions. She has established and advanced enterprise risk management and internal audit functions at community banks to support their growth and governance needs. Christine’s areas of expertise include enterprise risk management programs, corporate governance, and exam preparation. Her most recent position was chief risk officer for a $3 billion commercial bank where she directed programs including enterprise risk management, operational risk event management, internal controls over financial reporting, vendor management, model risk management, information security, consumer compliance, Bank Secrecy Act compliance, and internal audit. As a director for Fidelity Investments corporate audit team, Christine led a professional practices group that increased audit effectiveness by implementing quality assurance and by enhancing systems and processes, executive reporting, and staff orientation and training. She brings thought leadership, organization and quality focus, and a collaborative approach to her work. Christine earned her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Accounting degrees from Boston College Carroll School of Management.
